EnvironFocus Knowledge Transfer (EKT)

EKT is designed to educate to students in Grades 4-12 on ways to successfully implement sustainability projects in their local community while meeting United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

  • EKT provides insight into the following:
    • Sustainable actions and development;
    • Designing, developing and/or implementing sustainability projects;
    • Meeting United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Program Objective

  • To enhance the learning for those students who are currently working on a sustainability action project or are looking to hear from professionals in the industry. Sessions may also touch on careers in green/environment industries, advice on how to succeed in the field and women in science.

Sessions

  • EKT sessions will cover:
    • Sustainable actions and development;
    • Designing, developing and/or implementing sustainability projects;
    • Meeting United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Partner

EKT is a three-year partnership between EnvironFocus Incorporated and the Toronto District School Board (TDSB)

Who Can Participate?

Schools

TDSB Schools – Grade 4 -12

Organizations

Organizations with sustainable projects, products or services and would like to engage with the youths.


Program Locations:

Sessions can be held in-person in schools and via video-conferencing
